Amazing option for dining in the Hilo downtown area. They offer a wide variety of dishes including vegetarian options. The service was excellent and it is clearly a busy and popular restaurant. The drinks were also very well presented.
Just wow! The food here is amazing! I might be back several more times over the next week while in Hilo. The coconut crusted fresh catch was delicious, best I’ve had. The grilled fresh catch sandwich was also delicious, especially the homemade tartar sauce. The Pineapple Pow is a must try cocktail, and you can get for kids without the “pow” (alcohol). We tried the triple lilikoi pie which was outstanding. Service was excellent too, but it’s a small place so it likely gets busy during peak times. Plenty to walk and see in the area while waiting for a table.
My family and I all came here and all 5 of us ordered something different. Let me tell you, everything we had was so delicious!! Even both my picky teens loved their food. Great place, great amotmosphere. Staff was super friendly and service was awesome. All around great place!
Bright and friendly atmosphere. We were seated quickly at the bar on a Sunday afternoon in late November 2025. Our bartender/server Makoa was phenomenal. Very attentive and kind. You can’t go wrong with any of their happy hour options. All delicious. For our entrees, my fiancée had the poke tower, which she really enjoyed. I had the fresh catch, panko breaded style, which happened to be ahi tuna, and steak fries. Bar none, some of the best fish, and possibly one of the best meals, I’ve ever eaten! Stop by his restaurant. It’s a great spot!
Good food, friendly service. I liked my kalua pork sandwich and my partner raved about his lemongrass shrimp pasta (a special). The person that served us was super friendly. Nice chill outside vibe.
Definitely one of the best food I had here in Hawaii for my 2 week stay. Food was so savoury, and tasty. Calamari was one of the best I ever had, and the Hilo plate was so delicious. I dont think you will go wrong choosing that restaurant for dinner. The prices are fair for the portions. We also had amazing service, our waitress Cass was super friendly, great sense of humour and attentive to our needs. I 1000% recommend and would love to go back if I had more time in Hilo to try other delicacy on the menu. Plenty of seating and free parking. Loved that they had live music for entertainment.
Cas was amazing! She was friendly and made our time fly by! We tried the Poke Tower, Nachos and fresh fish sandwhich. Everything was amazing and fresh! We cant recommend this place enough. The live music was also a plus! 10/10
